Install Windows XP on Notebook Hardisk Not Detected

Why when install windows xp on a netbook hard drive not detected? maybe this is sometimes confusing. The solution is to install Windows Vista or Windows 7. But what if you want to install windows xp, probably for reasons easier or because the application that we use only runs on windows xp.
Why the hard disk is not detected because netbooks now use sata hard drive. Where windows xp not integrate sata raid driver for the chipset netbook. we need to do is to integrate sata drivers into windows xp installer. If it is still not detected hard drive also means your netbook uses a newer chipset, which means you need to download the sata drivers in accordance with the type of chipset.

  • Windows XP CD
  • Nlite which can be downloaded here
  • Microsoft. NET Framework 2.0 can be downloaded here
  • Intel raid sata drivers can be downloaded here

Step integrate sata drivers:

  1. Copy the entire contents into a folder windows xp
  2. Install Microsoft Net Framework 2.0
  3. Install Nlite
  4. Extract the sata drivers into a folder
  5. Run Nlite
